{"id":1795,"date":"2023-06-10T20:56:00","date_gmt":"2023-06-10T20:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/?p=1795"},"modified":"2023-06-14T20:58:48","modified_gmt":"2023-06-14T20:58:48","slug":"privacyanalyzer-5gasp-network-application","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/index.php\/2023\/06\/10\/privacyanalyzer-5gasp-network-application\/","title":{"rendered":"PrivacyAnalyzer 5GASP Network Application"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>PrivacyAnalyzer is a commercial product of LamdaNetworks <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lamdanetworks.io\">www.lamdanetworks.io<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It implements an AI Spark-based analytics engine which offers the functionality for assessing the privacy strength of applications or services against confidential information disclosure. It can detect issues like finding email addresses, GPS coordinates, names, cities, and many more patterns and allows the user to (i) either deidentify discovered patters or (ii) anonymize them with e-differential privacy algorithms, e.g., adding such \u2018noise\u2019 to GPS coordinates so that location services may still be provided with high accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SaaS high level architecture shown below is proven in commercial deployments that it scales in respect to the number of incoming messages\u2019 volume and in respect to the number of fully isolated tenants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-23.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1796\" width=\"728\" height=\"411\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Within the context of 5GASP, PrivacyAnalyzer\u2019s codebase has been refactored so that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PrivacyAnalyzer is a cross-vertical Network Application, with subscribers being other privacy-sensitive Network Applications;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>PrivacyAnalyzer is integrated with NEF emulators across 5GASP testbeds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Adhering to the interim review comments, the code enhancements have resulted that PrivacyAnalyzer acts like a \u2018Intrusion Detection System (IDS)\u2019 within the 5G Core of the testbeds of the project. As an example, the PrivacyAnalyzer deployment shown below is currently used in the UoP testbed to assess the privacy strength of the network messages stemming from the NEF emulator which operates within the testbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-24.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1797\" width=\"708\" height=\"444\" srcset=\"https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-24.png 890w, https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-24-300x188.png 300w, https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-24-768x482.png 768w, https:\/\/community.5gasp.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-24-558x350.png 558w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 708px) 100vw, 708px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The angular screenshot depicts that the UE with <strong>supi 202010000000001<\/strong> transmits -from a certain endpoint &#8211; sensitive information that may need to be anonymized or suppressed.
