IEEE PIMRC 2024 – CALL FOR DEMO EXHIBITION EXTENDED until 31 MAY

The deadline for the IEEE PIMRC 2024 Call for Demo Exhibition has been extended until 31 May, 2024.

The 2004 Annual IEEE International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (PIMRC 2024) will be held in Valencia, Spain face-to-face format, marking the 35th edition by world-class keynotes, high-quality technical sessions, industry panels, workshops and tutorials. PIMRC 2024 sets its theme on Elevating 6G Beyond Connectivity. This edition will feature a demo & exhibition session with the aim of showcasing important timely research issues and demonstrating innovative prototypes or new industry products related to the technical scope of the conference.

Participants from Europe and all over the world are invited to submit technical demonstration proposals showing innovative and original research outcomes. Potential contributors are encouraged to highlight the research component of the demo and explicitly mention the novelty of the showcased technology/solution.

Demonstrations exhibitions accepted must pay the demo exhibitor registration fee (2000 € VAT not included) that includes (1 complimentary Exhibitor registration (which allows to attend industry sessions), 6 m² exhibition booth with power supply and network connection, logo on the website, logo on the conference program and other marketing channels).

Demo Submission, Selection and Presentation

Demo application proposals must be submitted to Exhibition Co-Chairs David Gomez Barquero (dagobar@iteam.upv.es) and Jesús Alonso (jesus.alonso@i2cat.net) via email with the heading “PIMRC 2024 Demo Exhibition Submission”. Demonstrations will be selected based on their merits and expected interest from the IEEE PIMRC attendance. A link with a pre-recorded video for demo illustration is recommended to be included in the application. Download the template for the demo exhibition proposal here.

All demo proposals will be reviewed by the IEEE PIMRC Organization Committee. All accepted demos shall be presented in-person to PIMRC attendees during the conference at the designated areas. In addition, authors of accepted demos will also be asked to record a video on site, which will be made available for attendees during the conference, to best showcase their demo.

Best demo award(s) will be awarded to the demo(s) with the most votes from the audience.
